Personal Life
My wife Joanne, for 27 years, passed away on May 16, 2012 from ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. I am proud to have raised through my website, about $500,000 for the Les Turner ALS foundation. I was their 2012 man of the year. I remarried in June of 2013 to Liz Hintz. Joanne’s best friend Kathy was my “best man” at the wedding.

When not writing about stocks or the economy I spend a great deal of time on photography and in the garden. I have over 80 magazine and book cover credits.

Hey Mish, the old site would give the full article content in the RSS feed. The new site currently doesn’t. Can you change it back to the old behavior? Makes reading in feed reader much more enjoyable. Otherwise, congrats on the new site. Looks great.
Thanks scott
Will look into RSS but won’t change the emails back
Mish
Can you please do the world a favor and upload a normal photo? I’m hoping the image of you with an over the top, smiling, cheesy and dumb, I deserve to be punched in the face photo, is a virus on my side. Wow… I can’t continue to read your post with that. I have followed you for 5 years through the death of your wife and the new beginnings.
Good Morning, Mish. Enjoy reading your comments, however the new format has an ad or two right in the middle of a story or chart and I see no way to close the ad. Can’t the advertisers do something to allow you to turn the ad off?
Thanks
No one else has mentioned that and I have not seen it. Expand the window size a bit. I no longer have a fixed format sized page.
ZH has similar peculiarities I believe.

Hi Mish,,
Do you allow guest blogging on your site?
Thanks
Yes – But unlikely
I need to see a full article not an idea, no strings attached, it cannot be a plug for a service, and it also needs to coincide with my views, but not something I have already written.
It hasn’t happened except when I asked someone if I could reproduce their article
Hi Mish, I’ve been a reader for many years but when you went to WordPress, your iPhone app doesn’t update anymore. Is there a mobile option I missed? Thanks much
That app was written for blogger.
I have no new app.
However, WordPress does have apps to read WordPress blogs.
Try searching for that.
Thanks

Hello: I wanted to let you know I posted a blog article today in which I cited, with credit, your Law of Bad Ideas (http://bit.ly/1JMSmfo). As a retired government employee, I have grey hairs as empirical evidence to support the accuracy of the law and its corollaries.
The subject of my article is one of California’s “green” energy boondoggles — specifically, city/county electricity aggregation:
http://bit.ly/1XN9ETa
Your Law of Bad Ideas holds true here, as in so many things here in CA.
Best regards,
Hello, Mish:
Just wanted to let you know I used your Law of Bad Ideas (http://bit.ly/1JMSmfo) in a blog article today — with full credit to you, of course. The subject of my article is one of California’s green energy boondoggles: “Community Choice” Electricity Aggregation:
http://bit.ly/1XN9ETa
The “Community Choice” movement, which promotes cities/counties going into the high-risk electricity business, is perfectly described by your Law. (As a retired city employee, I have grey hairs that provide additional empirical support for your Law and its Corollaries — and their applicability to all levels of government.)
Thank you!
Best regards,
Wendy Lack

1. Try spam bucket
2. Make sure you are on HTTP not HTTPS site
It should look exactly like this: http://mishtalk.com/
Not https://mishtalk.com/
Let me know if that helps

Still can’t make it work, no confirmation or “MishTalk” after several attempts
what type of currency crisis in japan with the inverted yields usdjpy up down
No one knows precisely how it plays out – or when
But if Japan ever gets the inflation it claims it wants, I strongly suspect it will no longer want it.
Much like Brazil bitched about having a currency that was “too strong”

I just spoke with a woman returning from Trinidad today. Her old neighborhood has been over run with drug dealers and there is an open season on cops. When her friends heard she was wanting to see her home, a three cop escort was arranged. Cop now travel in three apparently due to the high number of cop shootings.
So I asked why?
Venezuelan drug gangs apparently are fanning out to the islands in search of commodities like toilet paper and everyday consumables and with the VZ currency in shambles – drugs and guns are their currency.
I have not heard any of this reported. Apparently many island have murder rate going through the roof as a result.
Bad economic policies can have dire consequences. Coming to the US soon?

Mish, how would have normalizing relations with our most aggressive adversary in the Middle East, the most important sponsor of terrorism in the world (Iran), have helped our national interests or made the world safer? We have real enemies in the world. Love your libertarian economics.
Missed you’re last after hours get together. Are you planning another to talk in person?
Mish,
I may not always agree with your politics but your commitment to this site and analysis is excellent.
Please keep up the good work.
Thanks Fred Appreciated

The old ap was written specifically for blogger.
It no longer works. Should not be needed. WordPress is phone friendly
