Trump’s win was expected. The only issue were the numbers, which he seems to be doing well for now.
I’m more flabbergasted why more people are voting for Clinton than Sanders on the Democratic side…
Maybe the reason there are more dem votes is there are more registered democrats than republicans in NY? Blue state, and all.
Still, the writing is on the wall now. Trump could have beat Sanders in the general election, but nobody could beat Hillary. Certainly not an outsider, let alone one who has alienated from two thirds to three quarters of the electorate, which will likely result in a landslide, i.e.; mandate for Clinton, and possibly a democrat majority in the house and senate.
So, what we need now is some foresight into what a Clinton Administration will mean for investment. Obviously she is the Goldman/Bankster candidate, so more of the same to be expected in Fed and economic policy? Surely more military intervention as foreign policy? Social spending? Infrastructure spending? Healthcare?
More crony capitalism is a given. Put another way, business as usual, as it has been these last 60 years or so. Will her economic advisor Summers bring on his cashless society?
Looks like the big winners will be the FIRE sector and the Defense establishment. Not to mention Trial Lawyers.
Looks like it will come down to Washington Oregon and California for trump to cross the magic number. If cruz can continue to siphon delegates in western states and Indiana, chances of an open convention increase.
well SANDERS supporters-get ready for the idea of VOTING TRUMP-that NeoConservative fleabag HILLARY DESERVES NOTHING!
The “Now we have to unify the Party” “break down walls” “Come together” BS is just that-bullshit! IM sure she has stolen half of Bernie’s votes-and i would just LOVE to Keelhaul her on the oldest rustiest most barnacle bottomed ship there is, but unless Trump and Bernie somehow pal up (they could DESTROY ESTABLISHMENT EMPIRES-are they really that different?) that is what i will do.
Adults still believe in the tooth fairy when they listen to her psycho babble-frightening
I think Trump’s WSJ manifesto helped push above the poll numbers. Now can he beat the polling numbers come next Tuesday? The grand prize will be California in June.
I think your neck will walk away intact. Trump has managed to tar Cruz with the cheatin’ establishment manipulator brush, and I think that is having a significant effect that’s not in the poll data.
It many of the districts Trump earned more votes than Cruz and Kasich combined. The tide of social mood is going out strongly between now and the end of the primaries in early June. This gives Trump and Sanders HUGE advantages.

I’m seeing twice as many democratic votes compared to republican. What’s up with that?
Uh, it’s New York?
More dem voters in New York than Repubs?
No kidding.

Trump can beat Hillary.
The Republicans are finished unless they embrace Trump. Finished.like the Whig party
Mish,
You called this. Kudos.

Ted ‘Dildo’ deserves no delegates.
At least Donald likes the gold standard, and realizes that bankers have printed yet another bubble.

California a given
Grand prize is Indiana and I stuck my neck out big

Sanders has as as much chance as he had in the beginning – zero unless Hillary prosecuted
