Wouldn’t it be a crack-up if they found SOS Hillary emails sent from her private server soliciting Clinton Foundation donations in return for more US foreign aid to Turkey? ha.
Hey, it’s probably not that far fetched.
Nothing (absolutely NOTHING) would surprise or shock me in 2016.
Had you told me in 1980 that men dressed up as women would be allowed to use the women’s public restrooms I would’ve told you to go get a neuro evaluation.
I’d expect to see: Info related to ISIS selling oil onto the market via Erdogan and son. Info as to Erdogan’s desire to facilitate Sharia law. Info related to the US having intimate knowledge if not more about his plans. Info about sending refugees into Europe as a means of overwhelming the EU to a point where NATO membership becomes easy with further threats, He realizes that the EU has no spine and it’s his for the taking with the right moves over time.
Sure looks to be over playing his hand. Erdo certainly believed a coup was underway or he wouldnt have asked for asylum in Germany then Britain. Hard to tell who or “what” is in charge at the moment but its certainly nkt the “secularists.” Says to me the religious freaks did all this actually….good way to plunge a country into “internecine War.” In short “there might not be a Turkey” in a few months or a year.
Watching Incirlik news, source says amounts to blockade, operations severely hampered . Erdogan says will make large announcement tomorrow, reading small blitz of Turkish anti-NATO, amongst suggestions are Turkish withdrawal from NATO re-alignment with Russia. Not sure but reported very tense on the ground.
I’ll repeat here, no major news source following this ( and many other details) up properly, even at all.
Be interesting to see. If that is the case, then I would say the guy is mad like a fox and is actually diabolically smart by playing the EU and Russia off against each other to get the best deal for Turkey. If there is indeed that kind of brilliance to his madness, then he is indeed a formidable politician.
But would Russia get treated any better than Merkel, the judges or school teachers? The guy might next dump Russia in exchange for becoming a USA commonwealth colony like Puerto Rico, with unrestricted visa-free access to the USA mainland. USA could complete the trade by unloading bankrupt Puerto Rico and Hilary to EU for Turkey and Merkel, with another country to be named later to complete the deal.
@ikofenglish — “Erdo certainly believed a coup was underway or he wouldnt have asked for asylum in Germany then Britain….”
Do you have even a shred of evidence that Erdogan “asked for asylum in Germany then Britain”?
Why would someone ask for asylum from governments that don’t like him? And why would he ask for asylum at all — given that he knew the coup was coming and was obviously well prepared?
Just because Obama’s fan club told you Erdogan asked for asylum doesn’t make it true. Dictator or not, the guy never left Turkish airspace, never was under a true threat from the Turkish military, and clearly had his counter-moves in place and ready to go hours (at least) before the “surprise” coup.
John Kerry and Obama were surprised. They said so themselves — despite having the most expensive spy services (plural) in the world. Kerry was in Syria “negotiating” (on his knees no doubt) with his Russian counterpart, trying to salvage Obama’s record in Syria. Kerry was within firing range of Turkish jets, protected (mostly) by Russian air cover.
Western media outlets get their “news” stories spoon fed to them by the same White House that was caught with its pants down (again). That is why they were surprised.
Turkey may or may not break apart… it has a lot of factions with conflicting ideas for the country’s future. That fear is why the people of Turkey supported democratically elected Erdogan. Note *their* careful choice of words, they were supporting a democratically elected government; Erdogan is currently is it. He is the least dirty shirt in the laundry so to speak, FOR NOW.
The Turkish populace isn’t as misinformed as the western media.
It sounds like a massive overreaction. I mean, how do you go from an attempted military coup to firing tens of thousands of school teachers and judges? Maybe some kind of post-traumatic stress syndrome or exotic disease or incipient brain tumor has mentally unhinged the guy.
I predict in the end, just like with Russia where he apologized and paid compensation for shooting down the plane, that he will have to back off on all this and give everyone back their jobs. Temper tantrum will have passed. The Turkish people seem remarkably restrained, which is to their credit.

Turkey is already NATO. What they want is EU membership and then they can send all their poor for a EU vacation.
Which will reveal sadly much of the real stance of USA on ISIS …

Incirlik source has been vetted now, has removed all tweets that give any info from his account.

Goes to show that dictators hate teachers
