The anti-terrorist message of Donald Trump appeals to Hungary’s prime minister Viktor Orban.
Bloomberg reports Hungary’s Viktor Orban Says Donald Trump Better for Europe.
- “I am not Donald Trump’s campaigner,” the Hungarian leader said at a cultural event in Baile Tusnad, Romania, an area with a large Hungarian population. “I never thought that the idea would ever occur to me that he is the better of the open options for Europe and Hungary.
- “I listened to (Trump) and I have to tell you that he made three proposals to stop terrorism. And as a European, I myself could not have drawn up better what Europe needs.”
- “If I’m asked what is Hungary’s strongest expectation regarding Turkey today, we will put stability first,” Orban said. “If Turkey becomes unstable, many tens of millions of people from that region will hurtle toward Europe without any sort of filtering, screening or control.”
- “Europe’s current political leadership has failed,” Orban said, adding that the EU was “fooling itself” if it still viewed itself as a “global actor,” saying that era had ended with the vote by Britain to leave the 28-nation bloc.
- “Our problem is not in Mecca but in Brussels,” Orban said. “The bureaucrats in Brussels are an obstacle for us, not Islam.
Orban arguably did as much to stop the flow of refugees into Europe as did Merkel’s ill-advised deal with Turkey.
After Hungary shut its borders with Serbia and Croatia last year, the flow of migrants coming from Turkey through Greece and further north into the EU collapsed.
Merkel’s deal with Turkey further shut the door, but it was individual nations willing to stand up to Merkel that largely did the trick.

Hungary as so many other Eastern European countries got enough experience about bureaucracy and political guidance during the USSR that they may be very reluctant to be in leash of these Brussels nannycrats.
My country got new orders from Brussels to cut emissions 39% until 2020 and half the use of petrol/gasoline. It remains to been seen with what magic trick this could be achieved. The transport industry sees a huge increase in prices and we all probably need to turn to electric cars. The question remains where to get enough electricity to run those cars. And who’s going to pay for all this shift..?
My prediction is that with all the ridiculous demands to shoot ourselves and our economy in the foot make this charade to end quicker than anyone can predict. The leader of Hungary is correct that the legitimacy of EU ended with Brexit. Now it is the endgame in sight.
How many countries joined the EU so that they could be flooded by illegal muslim immigrants?
How many people voted for thier EU-MP to do that?
The EU will shortly break apart. I am amazed that Greece is still in it.
Well, Donald Trump is now threatening to pull the US out of the WTO if he wins.
The Hill is not a reputable, un-bigoted source is it?
The largest thanks goes to Austria which limited asylum seekers it would let through to Austria to 80 people per day (Austria promised still to give Merkel unlimited amount of people passing through to Germany) and Slovenia which made a decision after Austria that it would take 50 asylum seekers per MONTH at it’s border controls but crucially would not let people pass through to Austria because it was unsure if they could get to Austria or not.
After Austria and Slovenia also Croatia and Serbia shut their doors and then Macedonia shut it’s borders with Greece.
Austria and Poland have personnel in the Macedonian border with Greece to help the Macedonian border guards so they all are to thank for closing the Greece/Balkan-route.
Hungary’s example was important because it slowed the rush but most importantly it gave room to move to other governments because their voters also started demanding closing of borders after Hungary showed that it works and can be done despite EU and Merkel wagging their fingers and saying tsik-tsik and they could close their borders after pointing to Hungary/Austria/Slovenia as examples.
Also Czech and Slovakia have been together with Poland very supportive of the border closing policies and special thanks goes to also to Albania and Bulgaria which have always had checks on their borders and tried to stop movement from Greece with fences and cameras and stopping people passing through.
Merkel is hated by whole of eastern europe (politicians and people) and Merkel is also hated by large amounts of people in other EU-countries also.
Merkel is a tragic example that German democracy does NOT work when a leader can make an insane decision after insane decision and instead of the other politicians and the press instantly challenging the insanity they go along for almost a year.
That’s kinda ironic actually and shows the false consistency of The Mush on this whole “kebab” thing.
The fact is Austria was the bigger whiner about Europe not doing enough to be “pro-refugee” not Germany.
And look at Austria now…slamming the door in everyone’s face.
These things neither make any sense up close or at a distance…and aren’t an issue or a problem as it relates to the USA.
Once Chicago finally goes the way of “even worse than Peurto Rico” then it’s time to move in not out as the entire City will be worthless.
Other States…like Houston for example…will follow in the State of Chicago’a worthlessness…and everyone can be happily worthless forever after.
Im sure support from erdogan and mugabe are coming shortly
The 2015-16 invasion of illegal migrants to Europe is only a preview of the invasion that awaits in the next decade. Consider that Egypt, Ethiopia and the Congo each have populations of over 80 million today, and Nigeria has over 200 million. Each is growing rapidly. Now consider the ease with which the 2015-16 invasion has occurred and the crime that accompanied it. The next iteration will be far worse, as most of Europe will be unable financially or socially to absorb what will almost certainly be a much larger influx.
As Jean-Marie Le Pen stated so accurately: “whether they (the illegals) are accompanied by tanks, suitcases or shopping bags, it is still an invasion”.
Europe is going to have to use technology to create really sophisticated border controls as the populations of the middle east and Africa explodes (while Europes population shrinks or flattens)
We”ll call it a “Your Phone” instead of an “I Phone”
The right policy towards Italy is the same policy as towards Greece because like Greece also Italy has a policy of pushing hundreds of thousands to northern Europe so they don’t have to take care of them.
Close the borders with Italy so Italy can no longer lure people to come by pushing them to the northern europe.
Already in 2014 Italy “lost” over 100 000 crossers of the Mediterranean Sea as reported by Newsweek because they keep pushing people to the north and to make the Italian charade even more despicable then they complain to EU that they need help after many more people come when hearing that everybody can get through Italy.
EU made the situation even worse with their insane “burden sharing” where EU would transfer hundreds of thousands of people around europe from Italy and Greece with majority ending up in welfare paying EU-countries which are the destinations people want to reach anyway.
If there is NO way from Italy and Greece to welfare countries in the north that give free apartments and free money for the rest of their lives to people claiming asylum then the trafficking of people to Greece and Italy would STOP because almost nobody would want to come because Italy and Greece are not free everything countries towards asylum seekers.
The EU has also meddled with stupid directives like the directive demanding that asylum applications are processed in 6 months (before the directive the time was over 18 months so there was less comers because one had to wait for 18 months for decision) also the 6 month limit made it more likely that asylum seekers would get accepted so more comers again.
If you tell a bureaucrat that the most important thing is to follow directive and have all asylum applications processed in 6 months obviously there will be more granted asylums because less time to catch liars and cheats and those quickly stamping “asylum accepted” on papers got the promotions and praises because they were “efficient”.
Furthermore the EU-directive demanding family re-unifications straight to welfare without any requirements to provide for ones family if one got asylum was also a draw towards Europe.
To cap of EU insanity EU started EASO (European Asylum Support Office) which took asylum application processing guidelines and interview techniques and training programs for bureaucrats making asylum decisions DEVELOPED IN SWEDEN (the most lax, loose and open doors country in Europe) and made them the Europe wide standards (voluntary but many EU countries adopted them).
Now EU wants to create a permanent burden sharing system that is automatic and where EU decides how much each country has to take and where the burden sharing transfers start after country reaches 150% of it’s quota (Greece and Italy would reach this on 2 months) and where the burden sharing continues until the pace of the country which triggered burden sharing drops under 100% of their quota ( Italy and Greece would be on burden sharing forever once started, never dropping under 100% because people would know that EVERYBODY who reaches Greece or Italy will be transported to welfare paying countries by EU) and where countries are forced to take people with 250 000 euro fines for one asylum seeker a country refuses and make EASO (the nightmare from Sweden) the mandatory EU bureaucracy making asylum decisions with powers over countries to force decisions to be made the swedish way aka totally insanely.
EU is an insane construct in it’s current form and ALL the people in the top echelon of EU are grossly incompetent or completely out of touch elitists.
They are worse than that I think …
“France’s interior minister is suing a police officer who claimed the minister’s office pressed her to falsify a report on the security presence at the Nice Bastille Day celebrations that turned into a massacre.”
They even want to delete the CCTV footage .
” The Port of Dover, which has no authority over French border operations, raised concerns over French manning levels with the UK Government earlier this week and the Government, in turn, raised the issue with its French counterparts.
“French Border Authorities have been operating at a heightened level of security.
“However, the French border control booths were seriously understaffed overnight. At one stage, only one French officer was available to check passengers on hundreds of coaches, resulting in each coach taking 40 minutes to process.” ”
Causing 14 hr traffic …
When these sort of events are understood as purposeful , I don’t think people will let them off as ‘incompetent or elitist’ .

What boggles my mind is Germany a member of the EU is basically making the decisions for the rest of the EU. Germany is basically running the show and tramping on the sovereignty of the rest of the members of the EU. I just cannot fathom why the other countries allow this.
Who is Merkel to try and impose fines on the rest because they do not want to obey her edicts. So now we will punish you financially. Germany is taking over without firing a shot in Europe.
I know Europeans have a different mindset about taking care of its citizens as I lived over there for five years. I did love it but I also found that most of you love your country, no matter where you were from. Germany’s banks are the ones in real trouble but this is not really covered in the media (or I missed it somewhere) as is the current situation with the Democratic party here in the USA.
I just do not understand why people do not put a stop to it. Germany violated treaties for years. Many Europeans blame the USA all you have to do is read some of their articles and forums and yet the USA does not make their decisions. Like the USA our media and politicians need a scapegoat instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. PSYOPS is working wonders around the world as people blame generations, the rich, the poor, or whatever can be used to direct attention elsewhere. God help all of us working pleebs as there is not a lot we can do anymore.
There isn’t a clear answer to that Old Guy. Firstly EU is still portrayed as just where rules are agreed on by sovereign member states, sort of a bureaucratic assembly to harmonize the continent. Many see the game as their own governments fighting for position in a greater whole. Secondly most people don’t do more than get fed msm, how much are they going to learn from largely engineered news snips… exactly what is wanted. Thirdly most main political parties across EU are part of the project and completely committed, even to the point of being rejected by own voters. Fourthly there is carrot and stick, previous wars, previous poor government etc. vs. the promise of new freedom and oportunity. Fifthly there is commitment, not wanting to be the ones to ‘chicken out’ or spoil the show, wanting to show that their country is sincere. Lastly there is confusion, countries have walked a certain path for decades, and a very specific one for over a decade, that has led them into some no man’s land where the previous nation has been partly overwritten and diluted, where the old nation is hard to recognize though it is remembered and people remain the same people… the idea of reclaiming responsibility, admitting error and actually having to think and act by self using a structure that is half dedicated to another idea by now is a big step.
The battle is very subtle, people hold their own ideas and resentments, feeling they are incapable of resisting the flow or just making the best of what is available or else just dumbed down and expecting answers from their own governments/society whatever those may be. To put a stop to the transgressions is almost impossible, you face a bureaucratic void, and would have to spend years and a lot of resources to take a complaint through court to the level that might just cause an effect. Look at attempts in Germany over monetary policy, they end up without clear resolution by the highest court and get deferred to EU law. The nature of financial leverage within the political system is so opaque that even fining countries for exit deficit or debt is no more than a small sideshow compared to the rest.
Amazing. A Euro leader who’s not a globalist pushing the NWO. I’m surprised he hasn’t been expelled yet by the PTB.
For the longest time I’ve described the illegal indigent foreigners entering America as our indirect enemies.
The REAL enemies are those within, especially those we elect to high office and those appointed to high office, who open the doors to the criminal scoundrels and promote it. For they are the TRUE enemies bent on the destruction of our middle class and their own homeland. Prototypical traitors. In the same class as Benedict Arnold.
The Euro-zone has entered the post-Brexit referendum stage that is certain to hold great challenges and increased risk. In my opinion, many people have greatly discounted the test awaiting governments faced with growing opposition to expanding the control of those in Brussels. To make matters worse the recent coup attempt in Turkey has created even more problems for the troubled union.
The growing anti-globalization movement which has gained support in developed countries across the world is very strong in areas of high unemployment and many people would like the option of voting against more political power flowing to a growing power grabbing bureaucracy in Brussels. The article below delves into some of the problems the Euro-zone currently faces.
