Senator Rand Paul blasted fellow Republican Senator John McCain over McCain’s perpetual warmongering on ABC’s “This Week”.
Some are undoubtedly disheartened by political infighting, but this infighting is good.
These are debates the country desperately needs to have.
Earlier today Rand paul stated “We’re very lucky John McCain is not in charge.”
Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.) ripped fellow Republican Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) on Sunday after McCain criticized President Trump’s escalating war of words with the media.
He argued that the nation is “very lucky” that Trump is president and not McCain, who won the 2008 GOP nomination but lost to Barack Obama in the general election.
Paul said that McCain’s recent criticisms of Trump are driven by his “personal dispute” with the president over foreign policy.
He added that McCain and Trump are at odds because McCain supports the wide deployment of U.S. troops to protect and promote American interests abroad while he characterized Trump’s views as closer to a realpolitik approach to foreign policy.
“Everything that he says about the president is colored by his own personal dispute he’s got running with President Trump, and it should be taken with a grain of salt, because John McCain’s the guy who’s advocated for war everywhere,” Paul said on ABC’s “This Week.”“He would bankrupt the nation. We’re very lucky John McCain’s not in charge, because I think we’d be in perpetual war,” Paul added.
Paul argued that McCain has a history of being wrong major foreign policy questions.
“I would say John McCain’s been wrong on just about everything over the last four decades. He advocated for the Iraq War, which I think destabilized the Middle East,” he said.
“If you look at the map, there’s probably at least six different countries where John McCain has advocated for us having boots on the ground,” he added.
Finally, someone in the party is standing up to McCain’s perpetual warmongering!

Hats off to Rand Paul. The sooner this county rids itself of fake patriots like McCain, the better off the US will be and the safer the world will be.
Mike “Mish” Shedlock
Trump was right. Thevonly reason McCain was a “hero” is because he was captured. I have escaped the EPA over the years and have a large stock of asbestos which I am saving for casket construction for people like McCain. Bury him face down so he can see where he’s going.
Why isn’t Dr Paul in the Trump administration already? He’d make great addition.
Rand Paul thinks hospitals, doctors offices, imaging centers and drug companies and healthcare insurance companies should be EXEMPT from anti-trust laws so they could LEGALLY financially ROB Americans FOREVER.
.
Rand Paul’s obamacare replacement law would make the FINANCIAL ROBBERY of americans by healthcare industry even worse by mking it LEGAL FOREVER.
.
Currently the anti-trust laws should be used to force listing of prices, demand same prices for same operations on all consumers, allow setting up of hospitals and imaging centers and doctors offices freely without local government creating and protecting local MONOPOLIES who charge extortion level prices, enabling same pricing of drugs for americans as US companies give canadians and europeans and asians etc. but NOTHING has been done because healthcare industry is among the biggest lobbyists and senate and house PRETEND falsely that anti-trust laws do not apply to healthcare industry.
.
Rand Paul has good ideas when it comes to foreign policy but when it comes to healthcare he is in the pocket of healthcare-pharmaceutical complex and wants to financially destroy americans who get sick.
“Rand Paul thinks hospitals, doctors offices, imaging centers and drug companies and healthcare insurance companies should be EXEMPT from anti-trust laws…”
That’s the correct position. If he is wrong about anything, is if he believes companies in other industries should somehow NOT be exempt from progressive idiocies like “antitrust laws.”
In a civilized society, everyone would be exempt from laws no civilized government has any business enacting in the first place. Which, unconditionally, includes beggar-thy-neighbor-sue-him-too-and-stick-the-totalitarian-mob-on-him-just-to-rub-it-in nonsense like antitrust.
If there are instances of genuine monopolies, it is always, 100%, ful stop, due to too much government involvement. Hence the solution is always to make government smaller and less involved. Never the opposite.
err,No! Natural monopolies belong to the national government. Healthcare is one, as is education. They need to work without a profit motive. Corporations have to have a profit motive, or they cease to exist. Healthcare has to exist and cannot depend on profit. The defence budget has to exist although it is entirely a huge cost. You can have profit in parts of it where competition can bring benefits, but not overall, not the service itself.
Your argument is dangerous!
You mean “natural monopolies” like the only functional parts of healthcare, as in the only ones where costs vs service quality has followed trends broadly similar to those of less meddled with sectors: Lazik and elective( cosmetic ) surgery?
And ain’t the “national defense” monopoly doing just dandy at restricting itself to defense. And national…
Seriously, dude, think before you uncritically regurgitate progressive drivel…..
It is literally, even theoretically, impossible to have “natural monopolies” in a government free world. Ergo, a general, 100% applicable solution to the (ever so overplayed by the poor, well indoctrinated saps whose roles are designed to be no more than mindless sycophants for their progressive rulers) monopoly and “market failure” imaginary problems, is to reduce government intervention. Until the monopoly no longer have anyone to lean on to defend it against challengers.
I wasn’t sure ‘natural monopolies’ was the right term. However “drivel’ describes your response in spades! You are too hung up on Mainstream economics rubbish to make a sensible comment this time. Basically it is completely stupid;-
http://bilbo.economicoutlook.net/blog/?p=35405&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+economicoutlook%2FFYvo+%28billy+blog%29
Instead of burying your head in a sandbox on account of some shill peddling even more pseudo jargon than the usual suspects; try thinking about reality for a second. How would you even attempt to construct a monopoly absent a government coming to your aid?
Imagine a corner case as degenerate as the entire world being a desert, and you happening upon the only source of water anywhere. Absent government, you’d still end up having to ramp up defense costs for your well, until the marginal benefit you got from it, equaled the marginal cost of defending it. So, no monopoly “profits” even in a case as clear cut as that. Slack off, and someone else willing to put in a bit extra effort, would just drive you off the darned well, as he is willing to operate it at a lower “profit” above and beyond his defense costs.
The traditional “solution” to that problem, is surrounding yourself with blood relatives. Allowing you to get a bit for free, by piggybacking on the fact that people are human. Which is why genuinely free societies inevitably tend to be fairly clannish. But even then, as Caesar found out the hard way, there are very hard limits on your ability to extract much in the way of monopoly profits.
None of the above needs to be taken to mean the ideal society, is one of completely unrestrained freedom, leading to clan war for every drop of water. But simply that supposedly fighting “monopoly” is not in any way, shape or form a justification for government. Providing dispute resolution mechanisms slightly less harsh than gun battles over absolutely everything very well might be. But pseudo justifications like antitrust simply is not. Instead, if an economy trends too monopolistic, the problem is too much government involvement. Too much “protecting of property rights,” or “doing the will of the people,” at the expense of simply “protecting freedom,” wherever the latter may lead.
Nothing relevant in what you say. It’s just fanciful musings on non existent situations. Your own personal sandbox-yours to keep.
So, does that mean you can provide a coherent refutation of my claim that government involvement is a necessary enabler of monopoly? I’d honestly like to see that, as it would be quite novel…..
Or is your comment just more of: I haven’t even bothered to understand the terms I’m throwing around, but using them sounds as good an excuse as any for stomping my boots and cheering on some Man on TV who says he’s gonna be “tough” on someone else?
did you bother to read the link?
Nothing novel, in principle, about government running a natural monopoly. It HAS to be that way. It has to be a non profit operation, which makes it unsuitable for corporations.
Your last paragraph just says you are just a troll. So clueless!!
Let me chime in with a simple but accurate statement: MMT is nothing but pure bullshit.
Stuki is not a troll, but that does not mean I always agree with him.
MMT is most assuredly not bullshit. It is Macroeconomic reality. It describes macroeconomics as it actually exists. So you believe Federal governments can go broke? that we have unfunded liabilities our children will have to pay for? that the government has to save and borrow its money to fund itself along with taxation? That it has to borrow from the private sector to fund the deficit? etcetera.
If you believe this nonsense then MMT is beyond your ken. MMT is promoted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in a 1963 booklet. [among many other sources] Central Bankers all know [even if they don’t comment] that taxation does NOT fund federal spending.
Where do you think the bail out money came from for the GFC banks? Hint; it wasn’t taxes.
Let me suggest you do a radical rethink. You won’t regret it!
PS. Stuki moi IS a troll.
Speaking of war… watch Kosovo… interesting things are now afoot.
In 1999 US/NATO bombed Christian Serbia, invaded and occupied Kosovo and defacto gave Kosovo to Albanian Muslims who had immigrated em masse into Kosovo over many years… and Kosovo became an independent Muslim state.
Several days ago, Trump congratulated Muslims for stealing Kosovo from Christians Serbs. Trump said the US is in a “partnership” with Muslim Kosovo because it shares our “values.”
A Republican is now leading a US congressional delegation visiting Muslim Kosovo to strengthen ties.
The US embassy said it will promote Muslim Kosovo’s integration with Europe.
NATO is now ratcheting up propaganda against Serbia.
.
NATO is a joke with no offensive power.
The Russians and the Serbs are closer than ever.
Trump is no BJ Clinton and is not going to bomb Serbia.
The New York Times just published an article about Kosovo ..
more evidence that Kosovo is in someone’s headlights.
Propaganda always precedes war.
” Russia Stirs Friction in Balkans, as NATO Keeps an Uneasy Peace ”
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/19/world/europe/russia-nato-balkans.html?_r=0
.
Kosovo shows what happens when a few muslims were allowed to move to Kosovo from Albania to get cheap labor in Yugoslavia (now Serbia) and because these kosovan albanian muslims made continually much more kids than serbs and started making kids much younger it took only a few generations for serbs to become a minority in kosovo and muslims to rule the place.
The acts Milosevic took were bad but they started AFTER kosovan muslims had ATTACKED serbs continually forcing serbs to move to a serb area.
The indepence wishes of kosovan muslims were based on ethnic removal of serbs and kosovan muslims started organized violence against serbs after years and years of low level harassment, violence and hatred towards serbs driving serbs to move away from Kosovo.
Kosovan muslims are incredibly racist against serbs.
.
This same playbook of making much more kids, much more younger and calling areas “muslim area” after muslims are a majority in the area and forcing other to move away with violence, harrassment, ethnicity/religion motivated crimes against non-muslims and threat of violence is in use in France, Germany, UK, Sweden etc..
Texas is another Kosovo… Anglos used to be the majority in Anglo Texas… but now Anglos are the minority because of decades of immigration [legal and illegal] from Mexico and the out-breeding of Mexicans over Anglos.
Below is link to the latest anti-Serb, pro-Muslim Kosovo propaganda. This one is really over the top! Notice how all the anti-Serb Kosovo propaganda and events have happened over the past few days. The US congressional delegation arrived in Muslim Kosovo yesterday.
” Bill Clinton is brought to tears by Albanian immigrant from Kosovo.”

Another blog right on the money!. McCain is just opposing any and everything Trump says because Trump dissed him during the campaign as Greg says. His warmongering is an embarrassment to the nation.
I agree. These wars are making America weaker.
Losing bright young people to senseless battles that achieve nothing.
Wasting $
I’ve changed my opinion based on reality.
McCain and the Neocons are still promoting war. I think it must be to continue the profitable war industry.
It was a great disappointment to me and a problem for the nation when John McCain was reelected to the Senate.
Trump had a hand in that with his endorsement of McCain during the AZ republican primaries. McCain’s opponent was doing well in the polls until Trump’s endorsement.
“… I hold in the highest esteem Sen. John McCain for his service to our country in uniform and in public office, and I fully support and endorse his re-election,”. –D. Trump
Yep! For awhile there I thought we could have had McCain replaced by our friends in AZ……CRAP!
Yes.
If there’s a country McCain doesn’t want to invade or attack, we don’t know what it is….
Including the USA.
Paul is right. As much as I despised Obama – we can thank our lucky stars that McCain lost in 2008. He would’ve run the nation like Attila the Hun and there’s a possibility Planet Earth would be a lifeless smoldering ball of iron floating in the universe today.
I hate make repugnant speculation – but Obama might have been a blessing in disguise.
Gawd, have things turned that rotten in America?
Fortunately, the American people seem to get it right most of the time, including Trump’s win over Hillary, who would have certainly gotten us into a global war over Syria. Sadly, the government isn’t completely run by people who we elect.
You’re being kind. The American public doesn’t get it entirely wrong all the time.
Sometimes they’re not paying attention and they mistakenly do something half-right.
For a guy who almost sank his aircraft carrier, killing 134 seamen, and should have received a long prison sentence (but was saved by his 4 star admiral daddy), McCain sure makes a lot of noise.
I am no way a defender of McPain, but your allegation simply never happened, pyrrhus.
If you wish to pursue that, show us the evidence.
CJ – two good articles on McCain.
“When a pilot wants to be a wise ass or show off, this type of engine start creates a large startling flame and lots of surprise noise from the rear of a jet engine on start-up–this was no accident. This and the large subsequent electrical surge and apparent (incorrect and against policy) weapon arming (by the pilot) caused the launching of a powerful Zuni rocket across the carrier’s deck hitting other parked planes (photo below) that were packing 1,000 high-explosive pound bombs. The subsequent massive explosions, fire and destruction went several decks below and nearly sunk this major 82,000 ton U.S. aircraft carrier.
This stunt and aftermath caused the death of 134 sailors…..”
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2015/07/no_author/john-mccain-is-no-hero/
Good article on John McCain, the so-called hero:
http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/make-believe-maverick-20081016
McCain’s political career would be over in an instant if media started digging his past and showing it in a loop on tv.
That makes McCain totally controllable.
.
McCain is an example of the kind of politicians that are the worst kind:
-egoist
-fairly dumb (watch his statements, he is not bright and he was over his head to be flying in Vietnam at all and only got there because of his Daddy despite being the last in his class)
-guilty of killing lots of people because of his incompetence meaning his moral compass was destroyed and he never took the blame and is living in an alternate reality (many politicians have similar baggage because funders of politicians like them to have skewed and broken moral compass, McCains baggage is just extreme in that he caused the death of over 100 americans) This destruction of moral compass has enabled McCain to cheerlead neo-nazis in Ukraine and cheerlead ISIS front FSA in Syria.
-he was made a star upon his return and promptly showed what kind of a person he is by divorcing the wife who had waited for him and marrying a young and rich wife attracted by his phony war-hero status.
.
The lesson of McCain is that INCOMPETENCE should NEVER be promoted:
If McCain had not been given the flying spot because of his daddy he would not have killed over 100 americans while showing off because he knew himself that he was there only because of his daddy, he would not have been shot down and spent 5 years in captivity, he would not have been made a war-mongering senator always favoring globalism and illegal immigration and running around flaming wars around the globe by his grandiose statements that US support whatever flavor of the month “rebels”.
.
If McCain had been dropped from pilot training he would not have gone to Vietnam and he would not have become a senator and he would not have been in place to cheerlead Hitler worshipping ukrainian nazis who think russians are sub-humans in Ukraine and he would not have been in place to arm and cheerlead ISIS-front FSA (Free Syrian Army) and thereby cause those guns to go to ISIS and make it a reality that guns provided by USA were used by sunni-ISIS to slaughter and commit genocide against shia-alawites, christians and yazidis in Syria.
.
If there is a hell McCain will burn there for all eternity.
I don’t like neoCONs AT ALL and McCain is a perfect example of one, but he was a victim in the Zuni rocket incident, not the cause of it. BTW, to add to the following, something called “stray voltage” was a very common problem with F4s. Also, note the mention of the missing safety (safe/arm) pin. There were multiple safety procedural errors by the GROUND CREW (perhaps ordered to do so) which would have absolutely prevented the accident, apparently bypassed just to increase the aircraft launch rate. STUPID. Asterisk emphasis is mine:
At about 10:50 (local time) on 29 July, while preparing for the second strike of the day, an unguided 5.0 in (127.0 mm) Mk-32 “Zuni” rocket, one of four contained in an LAU-10 underwing rocket pod mounted on an F-4B Phantom II (believed to be aircraft No. 110 from VF-11[1]), **** accidentally fired due to an electrical power surge during the switch from external to internal power. The surge, and a missing rocket safety pin, which would have prevented the fail surge, as well as a decision to plug in the “pigtail” system early to increase the number of takeoffs from the carrier, allowed the rocket to launch. ****
The rocket flew across the flight deck, striking a wing-mounted external fuel tank on an A-4E Skyhawk awaiting launch,[1] aircraft No. 405 from VA-46, piloted by Lieutenant Commander Fred D. White.[2][13] The Zuni rocket’s warhead safety mechanism prevented it from detonating, but the impact tore the tank off the wing and ignited the resulting spray of escaping JP-5 fuel, causing an instantaneous conflagration. Within seconds, other external fuel tanks on White’s aircraft overheated and ruptured, releasing more jet fuel to feed the flames, which began spreading along the flight deck.
The impact of the rocket had also dislodged two of the 1000-lb AN-M65 bombs, which fell to the deck, and lay in the pool of burning fuel between White’s aircraft and that of Lieutenant Commander John McCain.
Backwards, read this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_USS_Forrestal_fire
McCain was not even in the same type of plane that accidently fired the Zuni rocket. The whole incident was a multi-error cluster-f**k from top command on down.
I do not trust Rolling Stone articles. Sometimes they are good, and sometimes they are completely fake.
Yep! Rolling Stone can put out SOME information – but their writers OFTEN have agendas…..and in this case, they were WRONG with their facts……which makes we wonder how much of their other ‘facts’ in the article are slanted to ‘anti-McCain’….
You’ve GOT TO KNOW your writers/publishers…….no difference if you were reading a background story on Trump…written by Shawn Hannity…….
I know that McCain was cleared of any wrongdoing over the Forrester incident, but clearly his own testimony at the time (and the fact that he lost other aircraft) would make some people wonder:
Q: Did you think in your own mind at this point that something had hit your airplane or not?
McCain: Yes, sir. The reason, looking back on it, I think I felt… I would like to add about my testimony, after seeing the bomb go off and the injuries involved, I was a little bit emotionally upset and some of the things that I may remember, I may not remember exactly. But when I saw LCDR Hope on the hangar deck, and I believe you can ask him about this, the first thing I said to him was, ‘Herb, I thought I had killed you.’ So I must have believed that it was from my aircraft at that time. Then I heard so many other stories as to what happened, I didn’t believe it was my aircraft. But at the time, I think, I believed that it was my aircraft or the one right next to it.
I guess he just had a faulty memory, or an important father -one or the other.
I see that autocorrect keeps changing the Forrestal to the Forrester for everyone. Anybody can google and see the contradictory versions of what happened that day.
I certainly am proud that we have representatives like Rand Paul in office to counteract the stupidity of John McCain. I notice that the media has always used McCain as the “go to” guy for quotes from republicans, which should tell you something.
If there had been free press and internet when McCain returned from captivity he would NEVER have won the votes to be a Senator.
Mish: Yep! Just because McCain was IN a war, shouldn’t mean everyone else should also be in one…….
“He would bankrupt the nation. We’re very lucky John McCain’s not in charge, because I think we’d be in perpetual war,” Paul added.
Were it not for an endless supply of funny money the nation was bankrupt long ago.
We have been at war almost as long as I’ve been alive and I’m pre-WWII issue. That’s close enough to qualify as perpetual for me.
“The sooner this county rids itself of fake patriots like McCain, the better off the US will be and the safer the world will be”… truer words have yet to be spoken.
Mish I agree with Rand Paul on McCain. Also I agree with you on Brexit “just leave” advice so that if the EU thinks they have the upper hand then go for it! But please let me go back to Trumps news conference just a minute.I’m guessing that most middle class Americans who have a job were probably working at the time and got to see only the slanted biased parts on the evening news thanks again to the progressive liberal elites.Oviously I have my own personal bias. Nonetheless I really believe that there are at least a few people who have some how trained themselves to be totally objective in analyzing political events. So anyone who was worried about Trump being a loose cannon lunatic had to be greatly surprised the way he handled himself the other day. Sadly the country is so divided and there is so much real hate and our problems r so immense he will never earn their respect so that when things break loose-with the help of the media, it will b all his fault, you can count on it!
Hey, Truth: I don’t know, ……but I have a sense of peace about Trump. I’m not expecting him to do everything – nor do everything right. But, looking at al these demonstrators and all the machinations against us all……awwww…let ’em go. Trump will just keep keeping on….and antagonizing the crap outta’ the left. Enjoy life – just ignore them.
OR – one can view the current circus provided by heads exploding on the progressive left as very entertaining. I’m going to need some more popcorn.
John McPain is an embarrassment to the repub party. The sooner he is gone, the better.
YEP !!
This would be the best time to get Rand Paul to hit hard that the country is in fact bankrupt now. Not going to be, we are bankrupt.
Last week there was a blogger on Zero hedge who proposed that Trump has two real solutions to avoid getting dragged into another war and freeing up the savings of the American taxpayer.
1 . Give notice to the fed their debt is onerous. Force banks to add 20% to there reserves each year for five consecutive years. At the end of 5 years Fire the fed. Refuse to renew there license as an agency to the government.
2. Sue the fed for its illegal onerous debt to our government and citizens. From its beginnings of 2013
Along with petitioning Trump to return our Dollar to a 100% gold backed currency. This would indeed end McCains war mongering as the fed would be nixed and could not loan any money.
It is literally IMPOSSIBLE for the USA to go bankrupt. The government would have to pass a law declaring itself bankrupt. It can never otherwise go bankrupt. Why? Because the US is a monetary sovereign nation, 100% in charge of its currency.
That means it can pay for any and everything it needs or wants.
It is a power given it by the constitution and is unique to all sovereign nations. Non sovereign states, Kansas, Greece etc are not monetary sovereign and like us are users of the currency. Please understand this fundamental principle.
Tim Gaynor,
.
Your ideas would cause a depression like no other and make Trump the most hated president in History and cause people to choose another democrat like Hillary hell-bent on destruction of USA and americans as a people after 4 years.
.
The dollar is NOT the problem.
The problem is that illegal immigration and H1B immigration and offshoring are all destructive policies which have to be stopped FIRST.
Only Fed goosing of debt levels has enabled the consumer demand to stay up despite those disastrous policies that should have crashed consumer demand.
.
After those once the destruction in jobs has been stopped the jobs can be increased by removing the monopoly like conditions in US healthcare by freeing competition in hospitals, doctors offices, imaging centers and demanding basic standards like posted prices, same prices for everyone, enabling comparison shopping in healthcare and demanding that drug companies stop charging americans much more than they do canadians and europeans so the cost of healthcare drops a lot.
This will in turn drop the cost of company paid healthcare a lot so companies become more competitive and drop the cost of health insurance a lot so people have more money to spend.
.
Then the cost of colleges and universities have to be dropped by removing government guarantees on student debt and making student debt dischargeable in bankruptcy.
When a student can not spend 200k in debt to get a degree the colleges and universities have to right size their operations to make do with 20k earned from flipping pizzas while studying by the student or go bankrupt with no students.
Free markets will also make sure that those degrees that are useful and worth a lot will still be funded by private market in debt so the cost of those will drop from 200k to 75k-100k and since university and college can earn 75k for a useful degree and only 20k for a useless feminist-victimhood degree it will means incentives to offer more useful degrees by colleges and universities.
.
After doing ALL of the above and building a wall on the WHOLE southern border and stopping ALL refugee intake and deporting ALL criminals and stopping the insanity of birthright citizenship and removing ALL welfare from illegal immigrants and making e-verify MANDATORY with 1 million dollar fine per employee not checked on e-verify Trump should start looking into the Fed.
The interest rates should be decided by the markets in the long run to make mal-investments smaller and stop real estate bubbles from diverting funds from other parts of economy so the Fed would be made unnecessary in the long run and this has to be coupled with limits on banks so that no bank is too big to fail and one bank going down does not take down the rest.
.
To take on Fed as the first thing when so many things need fixing is STUPID.
Obamacare is NOT the problem the problem is the cost of healthcare which made Obamacare happen, lower costs for healthcare and no need for obamacare…
“flipping pizzas” ?
mixed metaphor.
I agree with you and Rand. But let’s face it the country is bankrupt. So now Trump has only 3 options
1. Suers the Fed for its absolutely illegal onerous debts since the Feds beginnings in 2013.
2. Force all banks and all the members of the fed to increase their reserves 25% for 5 years, then fire the fed.
3, return to a 100% gold backed dollar
And as you Mish said this would eliminate the need to add tariffs on imports as a gold backed dollar is the great equalizer which would stop currency manipulation and pricing games.
Current dollar is NOT the problem and US can not go bankrupt in current setup.
There are tens of issues that are more important than starting goldbuggy fever dreams…
The Donald should make Rand Paul his main advisor.
Rand Paul wants to EXEMPT all healthcare companies from anti-trust laws.
Rand Paul is bright and great when it comes to foreign policy but when it comes to healthcare he is the enemy of americans who want affordable healthcare that free market competition would bring when there would not be artificial local monopolies created by incompetent politicians.
Arizona Democrats must be running some real libtards against John McCain or there are no Republicans that have the money to run against him. I am sure his political treasure chest is huge.
Apparently it is indeed about the political treasure chest (or war chest). I’ll give you one guess where warmonger McPain gets a lot of contributions from.
The Civil War has begun, and it is Deep State vs The Donald:
http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2017/02/18/stakes-trump-us-paul-craig-roberts/
Let us hope for the future of the peace loving people of the world that the Deep State loses.
Which leaves the question: the people against Trump – are they in favor of WW3, or are they just plain really stupid?
McCain should sit with Democrats or aside. He does not understand the reality.
McCain is simply a man born in the wrong era. He would have made an excellent Caesar in Ancient Rome.
McCain voted for both the Iraq war and the Wall Street bailout. He is 100% neocon.
“Senator Rand Paul blasted fellow Republican Senator John McCain over McCain’s perpetual warmongering on ABC’s “This Week”.”
McCain is how dictators happen.
Rand Paul is quick to slam McCain for his support of the military industrial complex, but what about Paul’s support of the healthcare industrial complex?
The lack of enforcement of anti-trust laws is one of the biggest drivers behind the exponential increase in healthcare cost. Paul wants to formally exempt the healthcare industry from anti-trust laws?
Any politician that has chosen to make politics a career becomes easy to bribe and/or blackmail. That is what makes it the swamp/cesspool.
IMPLEMENT SHORT TERM-LIMITS AND EQUALLY ENFORCE THE RULE OF LAW, INCLUDING ANTI-TRUST LAWS ON THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX, AND MARKETS WILL NATURALLY RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS.
https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=231812.
get rid of Mccain petition.
I signed. (although since I am not from Arizona it probably won’t matter, but is a vote of solidarity with those who want him and his warmongering gone.)
https://www.change.org/p/arizona-gov-doug-ducey-recall-arizona-senator-john-mccain
Maybe this could actually happen.
McCain should finally realize he needs to go to a supervised nursing facility for mentally deranged old cronies who are definitely royally screwed up. I think that Harry Reid could give him a reference where to go. ( What the dickens have Arizonians reelected this senile idiot into the Senate Again unbelievable!!
I have just two questions for the foolish fake patriot that goes by the name McCain: Why should a nation on the other side of the world from the largest land mass try to exercise control over the rest of the world?
And a second question: Do you really, in your heart and mind, believe that we are under threat of attack from Russia, either by land, by air, or by sea?
I’ll admit to the possibility of cyber-attack, but that could come from anywhere. And none of your foolish ideas about “protection” would save us from that.
Let’s not forget his handling of any legislation/investigations into POW’s from the VietNam era ……… He made sure none of that got started! OH! And there is the case for those that remember ….. He was called the “songbird” by the Vietnamese while in captivity ……. I liken him to Jane Fonda …. another traitor ….. and that could be the reason for Trumps non-affection!
