Bureaucrats should not go about making orders they cannot enforce. It serves no purpose other than to make the bureaucrats look ridiculous. Here is a case in point: Brussels Orders EU Countries to SCRAP Internal Checks Within Six Months.
In an announcement tonight, eurocrats said there was no justification for keeping police checkpoints at frontiers within the bloc and said they must be removed by the end of the year.
The diktat means that Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway will all have to swiftly find alternative ways to police irregular movements of people across their borders.
France, which has had checkpoints in place at its borders since the November 2015 terror attacks, is the only country to be exempted as it is still in a state of emergency.
Announcing the measure tonight, the EU’s migration chief Dimitris Avramopoulos said the time had come to “return to a normal functioning of the Schengen area”.
Perhaps the countries remove the border controls. But what if they don’t? What exactly is the EU going to do about it?
The order will look all the more ridiculous of there is a mishap in Turkey and Erdogan releases a flood of migrants as he has threatened to do.
The EU’s ridiculous announcement has precisely one beneficiary: Marine Le Pen. She is 100% guaranteed to capitalize on this silliness whether or not the named countries comply.
Reader Klaus disputes the above image but not the overall idea.
There are no border checks at the Brenner pass. Border checks are in Kiefersfelden, Freilassing, and Suben to Germany by german police. Austria has temporarily checks in Klingenbach and Nickelsdorf for the traffic from Hungary for vans and trucks. The borders to Slovenia are temporarily checked (van and truck). The fences to Hungary don’t exist. In Spielfeld, there is a fence near the border crossing for better regulation and control. As long as the EU cannot secure ist external borders there will be controls in the countries.

Maybe EU will send tanks to countries not obeying its wishes?
Medex Man said:
You mean England’s tanks? Or Germany’s? Or the USA’s?
Oh! I know… the second largest military in NATO (after the USA) is Turkey. So you are going to propose Turkey be “ordered” to send their tanks into Austria to enforce EU nonsense — which is bound to work after the EU rejected Turkey’s membership and after the EU declared Erdogan to be yet another over-used case of “the next Hitler”.
Get a clue. The opinions of EU bureaucrats are absolutely irrelevant
The EU countries are themselves the enforcers. Given the precarious situation the EU is in after Brexit and the rise of anti-EU populists, these countries will not risk eroding the EU’s authority.
Austria, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic have already defied Brussels many times
I’ve crossed the Bavarian-Austrian-Slovenian-Croatian border overland perhaps 2 dozen times since July 2015. I observed the imposition of border controls in all their various permutations. The current border controls hardly exist. It’s perfunctory.
What if this in related to Turkey and a quick way to get more headcount into the EU when Erdogan opens the gates?
European demographics are very poor and there are plans to help reverse the decline whether people like it or not.
“demographics are very poor and there are plans to help reverse the decline ”
So instead of giving Europeans more chance and better salaries to afford a family (you know it costs and arm and a leg to have kids, don’t you?) we allow people with little or no education to enter Europe?
Sounds like a fools idea to me.
And yes, people should have a say on things directly concerning themselves even with bad results. That’s called democracy, you know. So far the least bad system invented.
EU is known and shown to be anti-democratic and expect no consultation.
All barriers will be brought down – borders, religion, cultural, racial.
“All barriers will be brought down – borders, religion, cultural, racial.”
So they think. They might have a surprise or two on the way towards their utopia.
I don’t have any idea about racial borders. I have known and worked with people from allover the world and have nothing against any race as such. I somehow see this talk about racism just as an excuse to force the borders open.
– I am against open borders.
– You are a racist then!
– Am not!
– Yes you are since you judge people according to their race.
– No, I don’t. I just don’t want our social security system abused by welfare seekers from a third world countries.
– You are a RACIST!
The above is typical “discussion” with someone who is for open borders. Everyone else with different views is a racist.
Sure there are racial barriers, just as there are those to do with looks, ability, wealth, etc. etc. etc.
Have to allow people to keep their differences.
Stopping immigration from outside of EU and from poorer countries of EU to richer EU countries would improve the wages of regular people in those countries and they would therefore be more able to afford making 3-4 kids per family instead of 1-2.
Furthermore bringing cultures and nationalities that statistics show have trouble finding work, have high welfare dependency and who make many many kids who also have trouble finishing school, trouble finding work and high welfare dependency but who still want to make many kids like their parents creates a mass of people who are bitter at their failure and who are easy pickings to extreme islam and this will poison the social mood of many countries and displace natives with said largely un-educated and unemployed mass destroying the funding model of welfare states completely.
European politicians as a whole including EU-bureaucrats and national governments are totally incompetent.
Maximus Minimus said:
Another point; if your country is being turned into a third world swamp, you do not wish to bring children to the world.
Demographics in Europe are awful either they accept these Muslim rapist and savages otherwise we will have to explain that socialism is just a big Ponzi scheme after all.
You always need new suckers coming in at the bottom.
Who is this ‘we’ Phil ?
Largely unemployed muslim immigrants increase the probability of the welfare countries collapsing because the 2nd generation and 3rd generation also have trouble finding work when their abilities are in many cases such that many drop out of school and even those who finish school have trouble finding work that pays more than welfare does.
Politicians and the bureaucrats in government are largely totally incompetent in most EU countries.
Bringing more unemployed people to a country destroys the budget of said country leading to more and more debt or then forces the country to increase taxes to pay for the unemployed and to pay for the unemployed school drop outs in the 2nd and 3rd generation who become a really large group with women in certain nationalities making 5-7 kids per woman because welfare pays for everything and the more kids you have the more child benefit checks one can get in many western european countries.
The only immigrants a country should take are highly educated people who find work in the private sector and want to live according to the values of the country they move into and who earn a better wage from their work than 50% of the people of said country’s working population.
Asylum seekers should all be returned to the neighboring countries of their home country or their home country’s peaceful areas (Iraq, Somalia and Afganistan all have peaceful areas) and told to live in their own country or in temporary refugee camps paid by UN and EU in neighboring countries for those whose whole country is dangerous like Syria (even Syria has many peaceful areas in government controlled areas but returning syrian sunnis who hate shia-alawites and syrian christians to shia-alawite and christian areas in Syria under Syrian government control is problematic).
Eritreans should be returned to Eritrea and the madness of granting Eritreans almost automatic asylums has to be stopped because Switzerland proved that many eritreans who get asylum in Switzerland return to Eritrea to holiday, vacation and travel once they have asylum and they get swiss welfare and free apartment that follows meaning said Eritreans are FAKE asylum seekers who LIED to get all the welfare goodies and free live in Europe.
Fish – demographics ‘don’t matter’ in the context you are using them. Look at middle eastern countries, say UAE , as an obvious example. Natives are a small minority, cheap labour is imported, wealth and ability allowed to reside, but the contract ( just a little harsh in some cases) is clear. There are no social benefits, rights to indefinite residence, nationality, and yet the place is demographically booming, and not just because of oil revenue.
Put bluntly, we are stupid.
You can add to that there is no need to reach any kind of demographic saturation, the sentimentality attached to the loss of era is not helpful to the young, the upcoming generations – at least not when it is used as a basis for manipulation of society. There is no demographic competition necessary between nations, particularly friendly ones, but only cohesion within a nations society, some basic order and control over outside influence, that will guarantee continuity in its existence as a traditional homeland of a certain people and culture. It does not have to be this way either, there is no law that states a country cannot become open to all, but let us at least be clear that we are giving it away to all and sundry, that authority tends to over-estimate its own ability, and underestimate the cost to others. Slack stupid corrupt political class we have in the west…and the worst is watching people cheer this all on.
Maximus Minimus said:
Europe is overpopulated by any measure. ALL countries fail the sustainability test, and must rely on imports from outside. It is the imbecilic, academic doctrine which is rarely challenged that population must only go up. In a finite world, it does not need disproval.
For many of the people who are not globalists or progressive liberals, head count or reproductive populations don’t matter. If I were living in Europe and in my twenties, thirties, or forties, would I want to see my children having to convert to Islam? I may be irreligious but that doesn’t mean I would blithely go with the flow to the arms of Islam. Populism is rising for a reason. More and more of each country’s people are seeing Islam as a threat to their culture and way of life. While the establishment media has “shut down” the new of the Islamic threat, you better believe a good many people get their news from other sources. Even the average Swede is getting fed up with the official government line.
Understand that it is the bureaucrats in Brussels, the un-elected idiots, who fear for their livelihoods. The more open the revolt the less likely is the security of their comfy salaries and pensions. Most of their positions are make work jobs, just like most of our federal, state, and local government positions. What productive work would these people actually do if they lost their make work jobs?
No, this is a two front war, one front is religion/culture and the other is progressive liberalism/globalism/fascism. If the former wins over the people, the latter does not matter.
I want to add, it´s impossible to win over the people. In the end, the people is the state.
That is why democracy is important for stability.
Democracy is a very messy and incompetent form of government. On the other hand, everything else doesn’t measure up to that standard. Socialism becomes a ticking economic time bomb waiting to implode as we see with Sweden with its bloated welfare state, high tax rate for business and personal incomes, and very low birth rate. Socialism only works when there is an increase in the productive population that pays for the non productive population. Dictatorships, doesn’t matter the ideology, are the most corrupt of all by necessity. The army that controls the population must be fed and entertained lest they side with the people. And since there is always a need for more government income, business becomes the bearer of that burden. Thus the best it can do is to feed the corrupt while its planning and direction are controlled by a few government “experts”. Such governments are usually kept alive by some sort of raw commodity such as oil or food crop. Of course once such a government interferes with the production of that commodity then its income starts to vanish. Venezuela being a case in point. Nationalization produces immediate wealth but never lasting wealth as Mexico has found to its sorrow.
Democracy has given us socialism. Sound law has been used to camouflage a form of fascism, left right and centre . With a dictatorship you have a face that says ‘ I am the law’, with all the responsibility, but the lack of structured prudence.
Let us be clear, law is dictate.
Law allows a government to write laws that do not benefit the population.
The only solution to that is to limit the size of government, but people WANT what government can obtain. So the only real solution is to EDUCATE people, so that they hold the prudence in their choices. Government arrived there first, but there are real world limits that will educate it and its people. Those in power are aware of these, and often use them for personal gain. Hence the race to plunder in combat with the ambition to contribute and sustain. The veil that hides this combat has to be lifted, so that we are able to discern who really stands on which side.
Ron J said:
Cycles complete themselves. Educating people doesn’t matter. Everyone in congress knew why Glass-Steagall existed, yet they dismantled it anyway. Directly after a stock bubble, people ran into a housing bubble, despite having just been educated about financial bubbles. Canada now has a housing bubble, despite having just been educated about housing bubbles by way of what happened in the U.S.
I think you misunderstand “Law”. Law is an ideal, a method to order our conducts among individuals having contact with other individuals. There is literally a “law” of the jungle. The simians have their set of unwritten laws that they teach their children and it has to do with behavior in the group, form family group to troop. Any study of simian behavior will reveal just that. And those laws do not vary from troop to troop. both the individual and the group’s survival depends on obeying these informal laws.
Unfortunately we turn around this concept of law and think that a few individuals give forth some code of law as if all individuals were lawless prior to such enactment. That has never been the case. What is the case is that out individual and collective lives are far more complex than any simian. Our “natural” laws, the ones that we learned through evolution (sorry Christians) we carry with us and transmit to our offspring. The rest we make up as we go along. Now understand that every group has at least one leader and often times more. See Rupert Brown on that subject. When we were hunter=gatherers, the laws were very simple. once we moved into agrarian and herding cultures, the rules became more complex because life was more complex. it was the introduction of the idea of property. Who owns what. Hunter gatherers only owned the territory collectively. No one owned any individual source of food or shelter. Think about that for a minute. This was the ultimate communist state except the workers owned nothing and nature provided all as it saw fit. This concept would have driven Marx to madness.
As for what democracy has given us, it has not been socialism. It has given us the ternary of the majority. the best we can do is to moderate that ternary so that those minorities believe they have a fair stake in life. Really, a democracy is two wolves deciding what to have for dinner while the lamb dissent to no avail.
Governments and many doers of good deeds have hoisted the flag of education as the means to educate and provide guidance to the ignorant. Except the ignorant seldom complain until their rights are abused. Law is not dictate unless it is forced upon those who do not wish it. And they are many who do not wish it. Ah, that is a problem. Essentially the rules of law should be a compact, a charter of principles behavior by all citizens. But should be never is and that’s the truth. Thar is why we punish those who exhibit bad or incorrect behavior and even then that may not draw them back into the fold of law abiding citizens. That is why rule of law is important and should not be scoffed at nor avoided. Our various memberships in the numerous groups to which we belong are governed by rule of law and and our standing within those different groups and our relationships with each other, members and non members is so determined by such rule of law.
Morality is a higher rule of law usually determined by a religious concept/belief. Atheism is not a giver of morality. It has no higher law to which it may appeal.
I quite agree with most all you write there, the law I referenced was meant solely to be the written law that empowers and facilitates the expansion of governance. I understand law as codified tradition, and as you say ‘ a compact of principles of behaviour’ is about as close to necessary as should be needed. Frankly, from experience, I have found that written law, legal facility, invites its own use, and quite happily is willing to incorporate whatever complaint comes its way. This naturally eliminates the incentive for people to resolve their own problems, to be cautious, and this feeds straight into the idea of governance that will resolve all, a governance which is after created by the respective legal framework of a country. Within that you will find both socialism and dictate, who really wishes to fund the country by tax to the current degree. Yet they must, or be punished, the resulting construct does approach a fascist corporatist socialist concoction. I don’t pretend to have answers to this, for others, and you are right that education is no guarantee, critical thinking is maybe the closest. When a public can be shaped, when the candidates are limited and pre-chosen, as will always seem the case, then I question if any person ever had a free choice. So I will simply stick to my own morals and hope they bother no-one, and criticise false pretense where I find it.
The funniest comments are about democracy in relation to the EU? Unelected alcoholic leaders with as much power as they want to claim and some happy to admit to lying or ignoring the sovereignty of any country within it. Its not so much the EU protecting its members now, Its more about a slavery imposed on its members!
The EU was never about democracy, it is the old co-prosperity sphere of socialist/communist days dressed up as faked democracy. Oh, it goes through the motions of representing “the people through the various representatives from each country, but it stops there since the rule and regulations and “laws” are proposed or made by bureaucrats and rubber stamped by the assembly. It’s really no different from the old central committee sending the orders from great leader or troika to the people’s assembly to be officially passed. One does not vote against the troika.
On the other hand, our congress has proposed a budget bill and will send it to the president to sign into law. Frankly, I want Trump to veto the damn thing and send it back. Will it happen that way? Don’t know. I’ve used my secret decoder ring to send President my personal veto of the bill but is the best I can hope for.
Eventually, the EU will fall of its own weight and general stupidity. After all, it is an attempt to try and control a set of economies through a sort of centrally planned economic committee. If one can’t plan by dictate then one plans through restrictive regulations, a messier still approach. Fortunately we are still very far behind the EU in this regard. Had Hillary won we would be doing a fast catch up with war with Russia to boot. You know, the globalists are really a bunch of billionaires who made money the old fashioned way, they stole it with government help.
“a good many people get their news from other sources”
And there are “fake news” censoring efforts by YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter to shut down those sources not in sync with the official line. We’ll see in France if alternative news sources can result in the election of a populist candidate as their mainstream press seems to be as biased as the one in the US. Frankly, I doubt it. There are too many clueless, easily propagandized people around – consider the majority popular vote for the Hildabeast. Of course, “Change You Can Believe In” candidate v2.0 is clearly losing against the Deep State, as I expected, but at least he might give the Titanic a few more moments above water. Same for Le Pen even if she wins.
NYT Cheers the Rise of Censorship Algorithms
May 2, 2017
Exclusive: The New York Times is cheering on the Orwellian future for Western “democracy” in which algorithms quickly hunt down and eliminate information that the Times and other mainstream outlets don’t like
actually, news sources in the form of individuals posting on You Tube and other less than social media websites do manage to spread quite a bit of “truth” abroad. Only idiots, such as those who voted for Hiterly bother to get much news from Facebook.
Realize that Facebook is the cheer leading site of a lot of garbage. If one has always been in the grasp of “progressive” democrats, then one will never go anywhere else for one’s news. Such idiots isolate themselves like the SJWs at colleges and universities. Truth matters not, only the “religious” message. And it is a religion complete with its own Spanish inquisition on campus and elsewhere. When individuals stop believing in a god they must make one up and that is what progressive liberalism has done. Progressive thought is the new religion and one must believe or die. Does that remind you of a middle eastern religion?
As for change you could believe in, that was the quarter prior to 1976 when it contained more silver. Understand that morality is given by religion and in order for the progressive liberal to have any morals he must believe that his political belief is true, just like any religious belief. This is the brave new world and very close to what Huxley imagined it might become.
Maybe the nannycrats think that putting up a few token border checks is useless when viewed against the length of each countries land borders and checkpoints only ake migrants “go round”.
For example, from here: http://chartsbin.com/view/mp2 France has 2,900 kms of land borders:
Andorra 56.6 km Belgium 620 km Germany 451 km Italy 488 km Luxembourg 73 km Monaco 4.4 km Spain 623 km Switzerland 573 km
I agree that trying to patrol its 620 km border with Germany is as ludicrous as the Maginot Line was to keep the Germans out in 1939.
The genie is out of the bottle and the nannycrats simply cannot see that even Europe cannot absorb – not refugees – economic migrants from outside the EU numbering in the tens of millions, congregating in just a few unknown cities within the EU.
Even by lowering barriers to migration solely within the EU, no EU city could absorb EU migrants of more than a million towards fashionable “hot spots” of demand.
From here, there were officially, 2.2 million non EU immigrants in 2015 alone.
There will be at least another half a million, possibly another 1 million unofficial non-EU migrants. This has been going on for 5-10 years, but just assuming the official numbers of non-EU migrants for five years, results in ten million people whose first langauge is not a European one – and who are movig to “sanctuary cities” that must house, health, feed, clean, heat, educate, secure and employ.
Mu guesstimate is that each of these ten million people averages an annual cost of 50,000 euros – making a annual cost of half a trillion euros a year – a burden foisted on embattled sanctuary cities within europe. This is the extent of Merkels lunacy at best and stupidity at worst. I repeat, these are not refugees, these are economic migrants. The high end estimate of a cumulative 30 million non-EU ecoomic migrants (3 million a year over ten years) works out at 1.5 trillion euros a year.
Merkel’s policies all reflect this complete lack of ability to comprehend the cost of libtard socialism across all the governments policies (and the stupidity of the german people in accepting these policies as “electorally good”.
Norway are not members of the EU, and as a tabloid I wouldn’t depend on the Daily Express to be precise in their reporting. Norway, like Iceland, are members of EFTA and the EEA. Of the latter Wikipedia says: ‘The European Economic Area (EEA) is the area in which the Agreement on the EEA provides for the free movement of persons, goods, services and capital within the European Single Market, as well as the freedom to choose residence in any country within this area.’
This ‘order’ will be music to Turkish ears, and I agree can only play into Le Pen’s hands.
Norway is part of the Schengen area, and has taken over 1000 directives from EU as I read in a newspaper. A lot of people want to withdraw from the EEA, for the same reasons that led to Brexit. It was a trade agreement, that led into a non-democratic, bureaucratic, totalitarian system. Now the suckers even want an eu army to enforce their debt on people.
Now I don´t know if the US has more or less government anymore, but it is a more culturally homogenous country.
Norway is in Schengen despite being out of EU.
Yes Norway is in the Schengen zone, but that does not make it a member of the EU. They have adopted various EU directives to facilitate trade, as have other Schengen non-EU countries. That does not mean, per this Blogpost’s headline, that they are subject to are subject to ‘EU orders’.
EU basically orders these countries to again accept unlimited amounts of welfareseekers who are lured to welfare paying countries by free money and free apartments that one gets if an incompetent bureaucrat thinks that the lies and fairytales told by the asylum seeker tick all the boxes in the EASO-modules said bureaucrat uses in making asylum decisions.
The acceptance rates for asylum seekers are still very high and have been rising continually since EU made EASO modules the way asylum decisions should be made (EASO was originally designed in the loosest and laxest country in giving asylums: Sweden) and EU also loosed the asylum process with EU directives which demanded quick asylum processing (higher change to get thru by lying and facebook circulated stories of persecution that are used by thousands of asylum seekers) and EU-directives also demanded quick family re-unifications making Europe much more luring.
EU still is trying to solve the problem of people getting from Greece and Italy to welfare paying countries that is LURING people to come to Greece and Italy by spreading those who come around Europe thru EU burden sharing (The Merkel and EU commission asylum seeker transfer from Greece and Italy to around Europe for a total of 160,000) and planning a permanent burden sharing which would be automatic and without a limit which would make 2015 a slow year in comparison if it passes.
The Greek route has been blocked by Austria and Slovenia and if this blocking is stopped then there will again be millions coming.
Italy still does NOT register people who are brought to Italy from the coast of Libya by sea taxi operators like Italian navy, Frontex and refugee organisations giving cruises to welfare seekers to Italy.
Over 50% of people coming to Italy are not registered and these will move north immediately when it is possible with Sweden being their number 1 target.
Sweden already stopped border controls between Sweden and Denmark from tomorrow so if Denmark stops their border controls many of those in Italy will start moving to Sweden and some who are initially registered but still have not had their asylum interview in Germany will also move to Sweden since Germany refuses to take these back because Merkel is an example of incompetent politician running away from responsibility of her political choices instead of admitting she was wrong and reversing decisions.
Sweden’s populace is finding out that they are running out of other people’s money to pay for all these refugees. Even the Germans are starting to catch on. But nothing will be done about until the politicians are made to do something. As long and the ruling Swedish party and its leadership are constantly re-elected, nothing changes. The same for Italy, France, and Germany. My hope is the Le Pen, as bad as many of her policies are, is elected and starts the process to leave the Euro and maybe the EU. As France goes, so goes Italy and then Austria, and perhaps Germany. I still like the Czech Republic, reminds me of Texas with the proclamation of “Gentlemen, prepare to defend yourselves!”. At least one other country and party leader knows what is what besides Hungary.
Screw the EU-BANKERS.
Prepare the guillotines.
Actually, I would welcome retribution to all the bankers and billionaires. I have nothing against becoming rich but becoming too rich so as to influence political working in any country is a crime. Frankly, corporations are the worst sort of government creation since it allows the accumulation of wealth with out the accumulation of responsibility. Financial engineering is not engineering, it is fraud.
“corporations are the worst sort of government creation since it allows the accumulation of wealth with out the accumulation of responsibility”
Without bought government with its legal monopoly on the use of force, corporations can’t MAKE you do anything. The fundamental problem is bought government which that accumulation of wealth enables.
US corporate CEOs used to have a patriotic sense of duty to their nation. The transition of the largest corporations to multinationals has completely eliminated that and when combined with bought governments the drive is toward political globalism to produce an ideal corporate playing field.
Beyond their multinational aspect, US corporate charters are also at fault. Here’s what a corporate charter used to require in the 1800s:
Corporate charters (licenses to exist) were granted for a limited time and could be revoked promptly for violating laws.
Corporations could engage only in activities necessary to fulfill their chartered purpose.
Corporations could not own stock in other corporations nor own any property that was not essential to fulfilling their chartered purpose.
Corporations were often terminated if they exceeded their authority or caused public harm.
Owners and managers were responsible for criminal acts committed on the job.
Corporations could not make any political or charitable contributions nor spend money to influence law-making.
Of course, correcting the current flaws in our system will be impossible since fixing those flaws would very negatively affect the true owners of governments worldwide. Besides the obvious truth of this ownership visible to anyone even remotely paying attention, there’s that statistical proof in the 2014 Princeton University study.
the essential problem between sole proprietorship/partnership and corporations/limited liability entities, is that if a bank is owned by an individual or individuals and rum poorly, then when it collapses one has recourse to the individual’s personal assets. But when a corporation or LLC owns the bank, its failure leaves only the bones to pick, the management having absconded with their swag. True, we Try to make corporations and its officers more accountable and liable, but how many bank corp CEO have done the perp walk lately. Most have broken the law, defrauded the public, so where are the indictments? Corporations, by their very legal status allow the concentration of wealth. true, one may need very large corporations to build damns like the Hoover or other such enterprises. But those are the exception to the rule. Of course for politicians, the larger the better has always been the battle cry. Easier to shake out large campaign contributions form large corporations than convince thousands and tens of thousands to donate their small amounts. All the billionaires will tells us all about the virtue of corporations as shakers and movers and creators of employment and wealth. But that is not exactly true, is it? The corporation is more about the accumulation of wealth and its protection from competition. Bill Gates is a billionaire because he stole an operating system, not because he wrote it. Further, IBM screwed up when they gave the system back to him and then he turned around and held them hostage for millions. Bill Gates is only an innovator of new ways of stealing, not new technology. One can say the same of Warren Buffet, he’s a thief by trade. Both of then do it legally but a bit on the unethical side. And with the concentration of Buffet’s wealth, well the banks, the treasury, the congress, and even the president grants him special rights to rip off the public.
Our concept of law has a few problems. It is essentially a feudal system in that one defends oneself or one’s rights in trial by combat and one’s attempts to by the best combatant one can. Justice be damned, winning is everything. The European’s love justice by committee, that’s why Dreyfus went to devil’s Island. Justice is what we declare it to be. Well, take your pick, you can’t have them both. Killing the corporation in this country and around the world we mean that we opt for some serious wealth redistribution. It also means that we must change our election systems and perhaps limit politicians to a single term of short duration, not that they would accomplish anything of importance in such a short term. But that is the problem, isn’t it? We can come up with solutions until the cows come home and still nothing is perfect or remotely close. Our problem is people. The average citizen is of average intelligence and has little ability to think for themselves let alone try critical thinking. If the average individual actually had an original thought it would die of loneliness. Not that those in the second standard deviation are much better. No, I’m afraid that the only paradise we shall find is death when it all ceases to matter. Death, the final justice.
France, which has had checkpoints in place at its borders since the November 2015 terror attacks, is the only country to be exempted as it is still in a state of emergency.
exempted because Marine Lepen results protect us during elections times…
Send ’em all to Scotland – the last pro-EU country on the planet, according to Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP.
As for Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway – just declare indefinite national emergencies (just like France) and route border rejects to Brussels (for national security reasons of course).
Ms Sturgeon seems to

B) Be completely stupid

What these fools fail to understand is the trend that is already affecting us. Merkel has not let these people in because she is a nice person. Like all of the west, we are at the point where the socialist tyres are about to hit the road. The boomers have been promised pensions, free healthcare and many other entitlements. Did our politicians tuck our taxation away for our pensions? NO! They used it for current spending and now baby boomers are retiring and are getting sick and in need of old peoples homes. It is very expensive and now their taxation models are out of whack because boomers are retiring from their well paid jobs and the government can only tax youth that are working for minimum at Starbucks. In the USA people are retiring at a rate of 10,000 a day. Governments in the west will find it hard to make their coupon payments on their sovereign debts from current taxation.
History is very clear on this, when government gets into this situation they will turn on their own citizens, which means Greece style taxes.
Now when socialism ends, how will our new found muzzy friends feel when the free stuff runs out and they have to actually work for food and shelter? How do you think that will turn out.
I am from the UK and our politicians are crazy, if they were responsible they would be advising Polish people to return home because when the economy turns down hard and UK citizens start losing their homes, their jobs, their pensions and their cars; even moderate UK citizens will attack foreigners. It always happens, I have read enough history and it happens time and time again.

The Elites Have Destroyed the Status Quo’s Ability to Self-Correct

Human systems can lose the ability to self-correct in three basic ways.
1. The information feedback is no longer accurate because self-serving interests manipulate the data to maintain whatever narrative/data-flow supports their power, wealth and income.
2. Self-serving interests limit any behavioral feedback that threatens their power, wealth and income.
3. Those in positions of responsibility who are tasked with managing behavioral feedback are no longer accountable, so the needed behavioral feedback fails.
Self-serving interests committed to protecting their power, wealth and income have destroyed our economic-political system’s ability to self-correct. There are many examples of these three dynamics; here are a few.
I am honored to share a remarkable data base of Corporate Fines and Settlements from the early 1990s to the present compiled by Jon Morse. Here is Jon’s description of his project to assemble a comprehensive list of all corporate fines and settlements that can be verified by media reports:
“This spreadsheet is all the corporate fines/settlements I’ve been able to find sourced articles about, mostly in the period from the 1990’s up to today (with a few 80’s and 70’s). This is by far the most comprehensive list of such things online. At least that I could find, because the lack of any decent list is what made me start compiling this list in the first place.”

What Nassim Taleb Can Teach Us
2 May 2017
“Skin in the game” is a central (and welcome) tenet of Taleb’s worldview: we increasingly are ruled by an intellectual, political, economic, and cultural elite that does not bear the consequences of the decisions it makes on our (unwitting) behalf. In this sense Taleb is thoroughly populist, and in fact he correctly identified trends behind the Crash of ’08, Brexit, and Trump’s election. He understands that globalism is not liberalism, that identity and culture matter, and most of all that elites don’t understand how randomness and uncertainty threaten the inevitability of a global order.
Thus Taleb argues the intelligentsia are not only haughty when they plan our future, they are also clueless: fragility abounds, and threatens to crash the Party of Davos. Hubris results from unearned wealth and prominence, coupled with a blindness to the Black Swans lying in wait.
He’s a very clever man.
Not allowing dissent will only lead to change erupting via uncontrolled means.
Pent up energy and demands denied an outlet.
Information feedback is BROKEN in most of *Europe because media has self-censorship about the things stupid asylum policies and stupid immigration policies cause.
For example Sweden has had media self-censorship for tens of years at what immigrants who move to Sweden thru asylum seeking process and family re-unifications to swedish welfare (after the asylum seekers fairytale of persecution has been accepted by a leftist bureaucrat) cause in Sweden.
Many crimes committed by immigrants and asylum seekers are not even reported and those that are reported have usually been reported as just “a man from Malmö raped a young girl” when the rapist is from Afganistan.
Only in 2015 Swedish media was FORCED to report some of what somalis, afganistanis, iraqis, syrians etc. did in Sweden because people were so disgusted by the immigrant crimes that they reported them in their own names thru Facebook and thousands of people shared them on facebook so the official lies by media in Sweden became a laughing stock and people got angry at the media for enabling these rapes and gangrapes and assaults against men. women and children to continue because the elite in Sweden was living in a FAKE reality created by the lying media and there was no information feedback about what was happening because Swedens open borders politicians live in peaceful areas that are over 90% swedish in inhabitants so they have no concept about what is happening in Swedens ghettoes with majority 60%-90% of immigrants or in areas where immigrants make up 30%-50% of inhabitants.
The rape and crime statistics in Sweden produced by swedish government thru Brå have been censored since early 1990’s so that there is no mention of birthplace, nationality, origin or ethnicity of the rapists and gang-rapists or murderers.
So the things politicians political choices in asylum policy and immigration policy and the welfare policy luring people to come have caused have been hidden from swedish people and from the politicians themselves.
The only people feeling the pain in Sweden have been the friends and family of the raped or gang-raped woman or a young girl or a child and if they have complained about politicians open borders insanity or even said in public to their co-workers that there should be a change in immigration/asylum policies and that afganistani or somali or eritrean raped their sisters daughter for example the politically correctly brainwashed co-worker has in most cases called them racists for even mentioning that their sisters young daughter was raped by an immigrant and furthermore called a nazi by said co-worker for demanding more strict immigration policies.
Sweden is a completely morally broken country and the majority of swedish people have been in effect cheering on rapes and gang-rapes committed by immigrants and asylum seekers by continually re-electing politicians from both the left and right in Sweden to government to whom open borders and loose and lax asylum policy are articles of faith and who have continued the government censorship that hides their political failures.
The EU is collapsing in principle if not fact. As the parts rebel against the whole we get dissolution or civil war. I find it interesting that I see similarities in the United States as different states are rebelling against the federal government in one form or another.
